Piano Moving

Do you have a piano, harpsichord, organ, or other similarly large instrument you need to move? Our movers have been specifically trained to move these large, delicate instruments, safely and professionally, whether it is a large grand piano or a small upright.

The Process

The estimate process is first, helping us to determine the costs of getting your piano out of its current location and into its new location. The weight, size, and complexity of the move will all affect the price. It may take up to four movers to safely move a large concert grand piano, though smaller instruments may need only two.

Once the estimate has been accepted, you reserve a time and we show up at that time with all of the supplies we need to protect your piano during the moving process. Legs are carefully removed, the piano is shrink wrapped, and everything is dollied onto the truck carefully. This entire process is done in reverse at the new location.

Minimal Cost of Piano Moving (off-peak days only)

* Piano transportation flat-rates include 3 hours of moving, and a combined 50 miles traveling from our company warehouse to pick-up address, to drop-off address and back to our warehouse. We provide all necessary tools and packing materials as well.
